Access to information

Aspect Tool requests access to your identity by finding accounts on the device on which you install the app.
This information is used to make it easier for you to get started, by filling in certain items automatically.

 Aspect Tool requests access to the location of your device.
This information is only retrieved when connecting to a unit, and is only used to identify the system location of Elotec Aspect units where an address is not available.

Storage of information

Information on Aspect units you have connected to using the app may be transferred to the Elotec cloud. This is primarily technical data on the unit, but may also include:

• User generated information, like descriptions of system and unit.
• GPS position for installation/unit if available.
• Information on changes to configuration, including the associated user identity.

Use of information

Elotec will be able to use the aggregated information to improve technical support, as well as discovering problems related to on-site configuration.
Technical data may be analyzed for the purpose of improving products and services.

Data that may be supplied to third parties

On request, Elotec may make information of work and events on the equipment available to insurance companies or authorities to facilitate investigation in case of damages.

This information may identify the user associated with the events in question.
Other users who connect to a given unit, will be able to identify users who have made configuration changes to the unit previously.

Slik informasjon leses kun ut når man kobler til en enhet, og brukes kun til å identifisere hvor Elotec Aspect-enheter er installert der adresse ikke er tilgjengelig.

Oppbevaring av informasjon

Informasjon om enheter du har koblet til med appen kan overføres til Elotecs skyløsning. Dette gjelder primært teknisk informasjon om enheten, men kan også inkludere: 

• Brukergenerert informasjon som beskrivelse av anlegg og enhet.
• GPS-posisjon for anlegg/enhet om tilgjengelig.
• Informasjon om endring av konfigurasjon, inkludert tilknyttet brukeridentitet.

Bruk av informasjon

Elotec vil kunne bruke innhentet informasjon til å yte bedre teknisk kundestøtte, samt avdekke eventuelle problemer knyttet til konfigurasjon utført på stedet.
Teknisk informasjon vil kunne analyseres for det formål å forbedre produkter og tjenester.

Opplysninger som kan formidles til tredjepart

På forespørsel kan Elotec gjøre informasjon om utført arbeid og hendelser på utstyret tilgjengelig for forsikring eller offentlige myndigheter for å forenkle etterforskning ved skade.

Slik informasjon vil kunne identifisere bruker som er tilknyttet aktuelle hendelser.
Andre brukere som kobler seg til en gitt enhet vil kunne identifisere brukere som tidligere har gjort endringer på enheten.
